Fixturing base plate designed for direct mounting on the granite table of the CRYSTA-Apex S -, V- and V Plus Series models 9166 and 9168.
The base plate provides multiple possibilities for fixing fixtures and direct construction of jigs on the CMM. It is also designed to perfectly match the Mitutoyo eco-fix clamping system and also for fixing aids such as chucks, positioning angles or the like.
It is equipped with fixing threads M6 in a 25 mm / 50 mm grid to directly position and build up fixtures. In addition, threads M8 are used to attach CMM accessories such as Measuring balls or stylus rack which are located in the edge area on the base plates.
Besides the wide area base for fixturing, it also protects the valuable granite base of the CMM.
It is Precision-machined from a high quality aluminum alloy and provided with a surface finish that makes the base plates extremely durable.
